Day 1 | Kob Inn – Clarkebury

Day 1 takes the riders from the magnificent Kob Inn Hotel straight into the Qora Gorge where we tackle Boulders, Coconuts and the Kwaninga river bed sections. The route then weaves over the Nqabara River and into the mighty Mbashee with Collywobbles Hydro Plant being a picture stopper. We stop for lunch at the Mbashee and take a new route into Clarkebury mission where cold beers, hot showers and a sumptuous Braai are on offer.

Day 2 | Clarkebury – Maclear

Day 2 departs into the escarpment and the organisers have some unfinished business with a pass called “Donkeys Dick” – providing it is dry.  If it is wet we climb the old faithful Elephants Trunk up into Sylvesters DSP.  The rewards are stunning views from the top of Langeni – truly breathtaking and well worth the effort. Your journey continues into the Oribi Gorge, Rocky Park and the Boskor forests taking you all the way into our new venue at the Maclear Country Club with a stunning pub and telling of Day 2 war stories.

Day 3 | Maclear – Rhodes

Day 3 and the excitement of navigating your way all the way to Tiffindell Ski resort is evident amongst the 100 plus riders. It’s a morning of forest, river crossings and technical single track all the way until we arrive at Big Daddy’s and our 1st DSP for the day.  From here we are into the lowlands before we see a tiny green shipping container some 2000m above us … this is Lehanas pass and your gateway to Tiffindell Ski Resort.  2020 will see a new route through Lesotho View and approaching the ski resort from the North and down the ski slope to a cold beer and Red Bull.  This is our party night and the highest pub in SA comes alive.  Riders depart after a hearty breakfast with a lifetime of memories and new friends made.
